Riteway Psychiatry Services
Welcome to Riteway Psychiatry Services. The following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our psychiatric services, including in-person and telehealth visits. By receiving services from our clinic, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Scope of Services
Riteway Psychiatry Services provides outpatient psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive mental health care. All care is delivered by licensed professionals and complies with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) standards.
2. Insurance and Billing
We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and other selected insurance plans. It is your responsibility to:

Present a valid insurance card at the time of service.

Inform us promptly of any insurance changes.

Verify mental health coverage with your insurer prior to your visit.
You may be responsible for copays, coinsurance, deductibles, or non-covered services as determined by your insurance carrier. Patients without active insurance coverage are responsible for the full cost of services at the time of visit unless prior arrangements are made.
3. Medicare and Medicaid Policy
As a participating provider with Medicare and Medicaid:

We will bill these programs directly for covered services.

You will not be billed for amounts that Medicare/Medicaid disallows, except for approved copayments or non-covered services.

We follow all compliance requirements for preauthorization, billing, and documentation set forth by CMS.

4. Appointments, Cancellations, and No-Shows

Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation or no-show fee (except in emergencies).

Repeated missed appointments may result in discharge from the practice.

Telehealth appointments must be attended in a private and safe environment with a stable internet connection.

5. Patient Responsibilities
Patients are expected to:

Participate actively in their treatment plan.

Provide accurate health information.

Treat staff with respect and courtesy.

Refrain from abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior.

6. Confidentiality
All personal health information is handled in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information.
7. Medication Management

Controlled substances are prescribed in accordance with federal and state guidelines.

Early refills are not guaranteed and must be clinically justified.

Misuse or diversion of prescribed medications may result in termination of care.

8. Right to Refuse Services
Riteway Psychiatry Services reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services in cases of:

Noncompliance with treatment recommendations.

Abusive behavior toward staff.

Fraudulent use of insurance or falsification of information.

9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from services rendered shall be addressed through direct communication and, if necessary, a formal grievance process. We comply with all Medicaid and Medicare patient rights regarding appeals and grievances.
